Create a new habit of self-acknowledgement

When was the last time you acknowledged yourself? Truly.
Do you realise being able to a) know your strengths and b) acknowledge them, is going to be one of your key tools in preparing yourself for a fruitful job search or career change, or just getting more enjoyment out of life full stop.
Changing the way we think about ourselves is the best way to get a different result.
Try acknowledging yourself right now. It's not easy but you'll be surprised how much more there is the more you do this. Some examples:
"I'm proud of myself for holding my tongue and not react when I got angry today"
"I love the way I handled that conversation"
"I'm impeccable around the way I work and I'm really proud of that"
"I'm so clever for ... "
"I've got a great handle on this, I'm so good at ...".
"I'm thoughtful and caring, especially the way I .... today"
"I showed foresight and tenacity in the way I ...."
You could make it a daily habit. Or even a weekly one, to write down at least 3 things about yourself that you are proud of. Whether by notebook and pen or an app on your phone, doesn't matter how. But it does matter :-)
